Embarque.io
Embarque.io · London, UK
A revenue-driven SEO agency with a platform that didn't reflect what made them different. We rebuilt it from the ground up to do exactly that.
The challenge
Embarque.io had carved out a clear position in a crowded market: SEO measured by revenue, not rankings. Their clients chose them precisely because they focused on outcomes that mattered to a business, not vanity metrics that didn't. The problem was that their platform hadn't caught up with their positioning. The site was built to talk about traffic and rankings — the same language every other SEO agency used. The differentiation that existed in the team's heads wasn't visible in the product. As the client roster grew, performance issues started to create friction. An SEO agency with slow Core Web Vitals is a credibility problem that compounds quickly. The request looked like a website refresh. What it actually needed was a structural rethink. The platform had to surface revenue outcomes — not traffic graphs. It had to demonstrate the methodology, not just describe it. And it had to perform well enough that it could serve as a proof of concept for the service being sold.
Our approach
We didn't reskin. We rebuilt the architecture with a headless CMS setup that gave the team full content control and a Next.js front end optimised for speed and technical SEO from the first page load.
Tech stack
What we built
- Full architecture restructure — Rebuilt from the ground up with a headless CMS and Next.js front end. Not a theme swap — a deliberate architectural decision to enable performance, flexibility, and scalability as the business grows.
- Revenue outcomes showcase — Results system designed to surface client revenue outcomes, not traffic numbers. Case study architecture that tells the full story: the business problem, the strategy, the result that mattered to the client's bottom line.
- Core Web Vitals optimisation — Technical SEO improvements applied throughout: image optimisation, font loading strategy, bundle splitting, and server-side rendering where it mattered. The platform now passes what it sells.
- Scalable content infrastructure — Headless CMS gives the content team full control without engineering involvement. New case studies, service pages, and blog content can be published and updated independently as the portfolio grows.
